hey i just got a atomik 250cc pit pro. awsome looking bike. just wonderin' who else has one or had one and is there any common probs that these bikes have.

howdy kracks, a mate of mine has had one for 4 months and he hates it because it makes him smile so much and he dont like to show his teeth. Carby needed a tune from new as factory hadnt bothered apart from that nothing except the usual china bike syndrome of loose bolts, loktite a good friend. He is taking it to a specialist this week see what mods he can get done, I will keep you posted.I know he got his for $1100 How much they sting you?
Cheers Dane

well i'm outa luck then cause my teeth are not that crash hot (lol) $1026 i paid for mine. what bike have you got?

atomik 125 pro x, bored out head, few more mods to come.
thumpster 125 has also had head bored, carby ported to match, bigger inlet manifold

yeah i got an orion 125 as well stock as. have you noticed much of a power gain from the bore out or is it not worth the effort

heaps of difference, like learning to ride a new bike. bit heavy on fuel now. had to fill up twice in 1 day and my mate with the exact bike (atomik 125 pro x) but stock only had to fill up once, but we lined eachother up several times and the bored bike smoked him at the start and just kept pulling away hehehe. I picked up the bored out thumpster this week and am hoping to get it out tomorrow. I have spent all week replacing plastics, Exhausts and levers on the atomik as i got the urge fur some air with the new power but forgot about my skill level and ended up bouncing the thing around like a soccer ball only hurt my pride but geeez it was fun

hi all. thinkin bout gettin a atomik prox 250 aswell.not gonna b doin any crazy stuff like jumps or anythink just trail riding n stuff.so what dose evry1 think of them?? havnt found much info on them just ebay specs n pics...

Cheers Robert

I can no longer recommend these bikes, mine is forever breaking down. Save ur money and get a secondhand jap bike.

I changed the sprockets from 17T / 47T (ratio 3.13)on the Hummer to 16T / 54T, (ration 3.37) as these sprockets are readily available. gets up and goes from takeoff with good grunt through rev range. Its not too low either.

i stacked at around 80k's hit a tree stump it sent me 30 meters down the road. still going strong did'nt even break nothin on the bike
