31mm Uni Filter to fit 25mm Carb?

Well, Ive got enough money to get a new air filter..

I just rang the bike shop and told them I need a UNI Filter for a 25mm carb and they guy said he only has a 31mm UNI Pod Filter or something..

Im just wondering will the 31mm fit my carb, considering my carb is 25mm..

My 26mm mikuni takes a 38mm Uni-Filter

usualy u can dip the rubber in warm water and it will mould around easier
just only problems is went its wet
