i know this is posted in general chat but since figured it would be more suited to tech talk.

ok basically my bike looks to me like its an agb-29. anyways first of all i thought i was buying an XT125, reading the manual it turns out to be an agb-29 with fast ace shicks n shit. i got ripped off. oh well am over it!

second of allreadin the manual it says there is a fuel valve and to turn it on when riding and off when not riding. problem is im not quite sure what im looking for as manual has shit pictures. anyone tell me where it is?what it looks like?

it also says turn the key off.. doesnt look like there is a f*cking key to me. anyone know is there/isnt there?

Third of all the choke lever where is this and what does it look like? any help would be great, as you can tell im a new noob

cheers

ALL GOOD BRUZ YOU WILL STILL HAVE YA DOLLARS IN FUN .

Your fuel valve is the little tap under the left hand side of ya tank ....you'll know what's on and off even if it is not marked as it won't run for long with the fuel turned off.

Keyway could be on the headstem " goose neck " area sometimes you can't see them until you turn the wheel but don't think they have one ....I could be wrong .

choke lever is on the right side of the carby I think , you'll know it when yas see it .

Someone that has one will correct any mistakes , I don't have one but a mate of mine has .

Hope this helps bro, don't worry too much about the shady deal you'll still get ya moneys worth ...enjoy

Ok, ok calm down :).... First off, get rid of that manual. Even the manuals for the intended matching bikes are wrong anyway.

Fuel cock: That should be located underneath the fuel tank. Just guide your way through the fuel hose from the carb going up the tank. There may or may not be a switch. If there is, figure out the off position. I use the word figure out as its usually not marked by OFF or ON. You can do this by unplugging the fuel hose at the carb end and check for flow as you change switch positions.

Key: A tell-tale sign is whether you have electric start. If you dont, dont bother looking for a key.

Choke lever: Locate the carb and you'll notice a lever whose action you should imagine to close or open at the flick of which. This differs from carb to car so if still unsure, posting a photo of the carb would help.

By the looks of it, you're starting from scratch as far as knowing and understanding bikes in general. Thats where the fun is. Learning and understanding this and that about the bike and what it can bring you both on and off riding is owrth all the time you'll be spending on it.

Have fun and dont hesitate to ask more questions - but dont forget to try the search first..

yeah i did a bit of a search couldnt find nething, plus i only just picked it up today so i was a bit excited! so the fun begins.... oh well atleast it gave me a good excuse to get a new car. thanks for the help fella's ill go investigate

in reguards to the key, my bike had one but it doesn't have an electric starter... Turns out they are really usefull to, if you unplug the key switch, it completes the circut! Long story short wast of space on my bike lol...
