air filter muddy/wet riding

what is the best way keeping mud/water out of ur filter when riding, post your best ideas like using a coke bottle and cut the two ends off. Suggest which works best! CHeers

There was a thread yesterday about those bags you put over your air filter to keep water out, the best stuff I use is Shell air filter oil.. Thats the only basic remedy I know Lol. However, I did see at this gooks moto shop, he put an air filter with a plastic sorta box around it or some shit.. I dont remember but it was meant to keep water and stuff out, but it raises the question.. How does air get through the filter? :S
