Bearings?

So,

My bearings in my swing arm are currently stuffed so ive bought new bearings and now its just tying to find someone who can press them in for me.

The swinger is an A-style swingarm, Ive had a quote for $50 to get them pressed, but i dont want to spend the money.

Im wanting to know how hard it is to press them in, or if there is anyone you know that can do it a bit cheaper than $50

Ive pressed them in using a vice and a socket(same size as the OD of bearing), worked a treat.

Oh and $50 for getting someone to press them is a rip, it doesn't take long.

So how did you get the old ones out?

EDIT: Did you have to heat up the bearing or the swinger?

You can also use the old bearing case as the (punch) if your good with a hammer you can tap them it too.

Im not quite sure how you get them out by using a socket.

I would of thought you have to use something to lever them out, like a bolt.

Hi Mate just did mine the other day, took them out with a hammer and a 1/2 extension bar. To refit them I put the bearings in the freezer for a couple of hours and left the swinger in the sun. They just about fell in.
