Best 50 jap bike out?

hey guys soon i will be getting a jap 50 to do up because my dad wont let me do up my china he says its pointless doing up a cheep bike.

So yea i will either be getting a hond cr 50, crf50 or a yamaha ttr 50 or a klx 110

or if anyone has any other recomendations.

i am kinda gathering that handa 50s are the best 50s out but yea what do u guys recomend.

i rerckon crf 50s turn out sik wen there done up but if u got a fair bit of money to spend id say a ttr50 not many people have them n wen there done up they look awsome

hey mate own a ttr myself havnt had any problems with it. keeps up with the crfs pretty easily.

its seriously not dearer mate its pretty much just the same cept u need to buy a blue front mudgaurd and number plate and make a mount thats the only difference really because all the parts are about the same.

they are heeps more parts online for ttr-50s now so it won't be any problem geting parts, tho they are a fair bit more expencive$$. The crf 50's look good and you can find parts anywhere. What ever you choose the the kitko (spelling??) 88cc its worth it as many people have said (stunt101)

Klx you will spend alot more. Stay with the crf50. Here are some prices

* 06 crf50f $2000+
*Kitcko 88cc kit $500+
*Bar kit $250+
*Fork springs 200+ (New forks $500-2500)
*Swing arm $200+
*Heeps more like plastics and little things $200+

So it adds up to be quiet a fair amount of money but you get what ya pay for, good bikes man ask stunt101 or some other people. But those prices may vary depending if you use EBAY or what Bar kit or 88cc kit or 75cc kit you get...

changing the subject a little but we own a ttr 90 and it is a great lil bike though it is mainly for the kids but is still fun for an adult to ride and it goes as hard as my 125 china bike though not quite as responsive being an auto clutch. but it has run sweet from day one which isn`t something i can say for the cheap china bike

TTr 50 is made in china and when you all figure out they are poo like all the other bikes out of china then you will all get honda's. I know of a few that have blown gearbox's yet the hondas don't have any probs at all. There is no where near as many parts available for TTR as there is for Honda CRF50 so my advice is to go with Honda and have a strong reliable bike for a long time.

got it in for the ttrs dont you mate. havnt had any problems at all with mine yet and a few of my mates have em and they havnt had a problem yet either. i know of heaps of hondas who have blown up its how they are treated and sometimes u will get a bad bikle and sometimes you will ge\t a great bike, luck of the draw.

Just one look at mcneils and its got me drooling kills a honda in looks i rekon...(even though my pitpro has the same style plastics)...... sorry sixeven but get over yourself mate.. we're all tired of hearing you hating on knockoffs and other non mainstream bikes.. Would you be happy to give all us knockoff and non honda riders $5000 - $10000 grand each to do up a lil honda crf50 like yours.. because thats seems like it would be the only thing that would stop you from hating on us guys that are not as wealthy as yourself..... i would chosse my pitpro ova your honda anyday even if ur honda was worth 20g's..just because id like to support other unfortunate people like myself.. so please consider other peoples situations and put urself in their shoes!

mcneails bike dosnt kill a honda in looks. there practically the same bike just honda have heaps heaps heaps more parts and well... its a honda.. The reason why mcneails looks good is becoz he has powdercoated some of it.

TTr-50's are made in china but are japenese designs. The japs tell the chinese that the bikes have to be up to a standard of quality so they can sell.
i own a ttr 50 and have had it for 6 months without any parts added.
and it has been all in tact. today i ordered the gytr folk springs and rear shock and bar kit
