Bike cuts out

Hi I have a mini dirt bike, when I start it the bike will start and when throttle open the bike runs fine but as soon as you let off the throttle it cuts out. It also won't run idle I need to hold back wheel up and apply throttle once started. I have cleaned carb and changed the air filter and put a new spark plug in but still cuts out.
Could this be the clutch or anything else.

ok there are lots of threads regarding issues like this. searching will help but we need to know what engine u have? what carby? the pilot and main jet sizes. is the bike new or old and only just started showing symptoms? answer these and we can give ya more help bud!

so is your bike a little 2 stroke /pull start 50cc ?
try cleaning out the carby
it sounds like a Pilot jet blockage to me,
pull the carby apart and blow out all the holes inside it with compressed air
check that nothing is plugged up with gum etc from letting it sit not being used.
