Recently my yx140 has developed a hiccup.
Its noticeble only when riding on bitumen at cruising levels.

Carb is fakuni , probably 24mm. I rejeted it agest ago, cant remember the jetting.
I can get the specs if needed.

When the hiccup happens, the rear tyre semi 'skips' or locks. Like youve stabbed the rear brake. then it chugs along well. It almost like the engine dies in gear and locks the tyre for a split 2nd, then goes . .
happens randomly

On idle the bike is fine. Bit smokey now, but i ajdusted the exhaust valve and its better. On WOT its fine, no hiccup.

The jets arent clogged.
the only odd thing is slightly smokey exhaust.
I put this motor together about 4 rides ago cos of a buggered kickstar gear and cam sprocket problem.
