Hi All,
almost got my daughters bike up and running, well I thought I had it readu until I took it for a test run, and everything seemed perfectly okay....until I went to stop, no front brake and no rear brake, had to pretty much push all the way down on the rear brake before it had any effect on stopping the bike, not being too clued up on brakes, I'm going to assume they probably need bleeding or even topping up of fluid, I checked the top reservoir for the front brakes but unsure what level they should be at, the reservoir did seem only half full, I have no idea what fluid is in it whether it be dot 3 or dot 4, but will be buying some dot 4, so my question is a bit winded, but:
1. Where do I start?
2. If the fluid is old is it better to replace it all? if so best way to do this?
3. If it's possibly the discs...how much should I have on them?
4. Or is there another adjustment I can make to have the rear brake for example kick in earlier?
