ok guys i wana build a jumping XR50 (well gunna try) so i was wondering what is necessary 2 do 2 it, ive ordered Sano fork extender kit and Hard spprings aswell as a Kitaco HD rear shock, im getting high bars eventually (ive got a steel bar chock between the stock bars and the forks, it works well enoguh 4 now) so i whats next? frames or wheels etc. the bike is 100% stock apart form high seat, now if i pimp it up will it jump any good or what? plus can some one pleace explain 2 me the different classes of minis thumpstars', motovert, XR/CRF50 etc.
 
hey man welcom to the site iv seen ur $6 ramp on fmxaus lol good stuff, it looks like uv coved most things necesary to go jumpen. maybe next look at bracing ur frame, lift kits etc.
 
can u explain frame bracing 2 me, where the weak spots r, ive welded a plate under the tank (off the TIPS section off fad 50's it think) and a lift kit? where and how much?

well ya wanna brace all the majoir "joins" in the frame by using gussets etc. im prob not the gut to talk to about this i think "mack" could help ya out abit more.
 
orite nice, i can probly build one at my ag college if thos c***s let me, they wont let me even build a ramp or down ramp or anything bar building a trailor. what i mean by classes is like u ride a thumpstar and i ride a xr50 so like do xr/crf/ttr 50's only 4 raceing n shit or can they be built into a thumpstar size bike purly 4 ramp jumps?
