Why would you get a dato? get an escort or a cortina instead, heaps better.

And monaros, hsvs and 350z's are POS in my opinion. Get somthing that stands out.
 
my car is fair cheap..i only pay $124 every 3 months but i dont think they come much cheaper than that...an average car your probably looking at 130-140 every 3 months
 
my first car that i could actual drive was a gt cortina lol
i still drive it
just watin for the mazda to get done :D
 
My first car had two wheels and "Yamaha" on the tank! :D

the 260 is cheap, fuel efficient, good gear box, good handling and looks sick...
and don't bagg hsv's, monaros and 350z's if u don't have something better, they mightn't stad out but are sick cars.
 
y are u worrying about cars pascal u still have like 5 years untill u even hit pubity letalone and lineces
 
First car was a HR holden bought for $2000 and sold for $1000 about a year later

Then they went as follows
bought - sold (length owned)
1981 Mazda 121 $4600 - stolen (2 years)
1982 moke $2400 - $2500 (2 years)
datsun 180b $170 - gave to sister (6 months)
daihatsu f50 $4000 - $5000 trade in on rocky (18 months)
Rocky $16000 - $9000 (4 years)
s3 landrover $5400 -$6000 (6 months)

I didnt own a car at all for 2 or three years and then got

hz tonner $2400 - $2600 (2 years)
VC commodore $100 - $700 (18 months)
datsun 1200 ute $4500 - $4500 (2 years)
subaru DL $4600 - $1700 (3 years)
VN commodore $100 - $240 (not long)
hiace SBV $22000 - still got it 3 years later
 
stick too the dirt... cars and bikes are not a good combo!

wasnt too long after i got my p's when i got my car, i was after a corolla seca sx but instead for 2000 less i got something that i wouldnt have to be too concernd about if i scratched it or bumped someone! is a 91 nissan pintara trx... we are now pinatara fans, and now have 6 of them because they are dirt cheap and good for what they are

Datto ute had a 1400, twin su, extractors, cam, disc brakes and went like a bullet (it was the first car that I ever got booked in at 31 years old).

The moke was a great little run around and I could parrallell park it in the smallest places by running the nose in and then lifting the back and walking the arse in.

future cars (non i love the pintara to much)

future mods :)

* i have a sr20de currently in peaces, come out of a jap spec pulsar n15 i think, motor will be getting moded (when i ever have the money) plans are proberly cams, injectors, computer, port and polish and thats pritty much all it will need to rip... not that the standard ka2.4e isnt a good motor but its a single cam which does offers only 96 kilowatts standard compared to the newer sr20de (n15) making 120 kilowatts or something like that..

* will need a new paint soon aswell as it is fading and has suffered some scratches... bumpers and etc are starting to show its true age! will get some straighter ones...

* i do want to lower it at some stage 2-2 1/2 inches max adding a nice set of rims either 17" light weight race rims or just a nice set of 18"... 17 white race rims will set it of, not a great fan of the "fully sick" chromies

* could also do with interior (shows it was at one stage a family car) not into the whole system thing! might just add tweeters, run the existing front 4'' speakers and rear 6x9 off a amp and possibly get a sub and a new deck (dvd player) for those long journeys for when we go riding :)

* might do some suspention work just to have abit of fun on the track
