Calder Hwy Pit Bike Track????

Just wondering if anyone in Melb knows if that track on the side of the Calder Highway, just near the Thunderdome is a public track and if it is, is it open yet?

Also the cost if its open?

Are u talking about the track opposite the dome? If so, that is private property and not for public use!

but there is good news but dont take my word for it because they have said something like this before

ive read in the local paper that after the crusty show here at calderpark they are going to use the left over dirt (3000 truck loads) and make 2 dirtbike tracks for the public a beginner and amateur track and they said it will be finnished in oct

but... last year they said they were going to build a track too and said it would be finnished by now which they havnt started
