hey thats a mint as bike how much did u pay for all the parts to restore it
nice work man

The motor is from the chinese bike. Electric start 72cc. I used it because a) it was brand new and b) it is a 12V engine rather than the original 6V so i can run modern lights, digital speedo etc if i want.

Hasn't cost too much i guess compared to my other projects, spent about $300 on that tank in the end though, just in materials... Then theres the seat, the donor bike, the original bike etc. All adds up!

Just put a Kitaco 25t rear sprocket on it so it goes much quicker now!

My brother did the exact same thing though his is yellow.

Cheers

No not yet. Have the roadworthy certificates, just waiting on VicRoads for a letter of approval which should be here any day now.

One of those weird chinese things. Both bikes i got were exactly the same, both have 70cc printed everywhere, go exactly the same etc except one has 48cc on the cylinder, the other 72cc. So, we ground the 72cc of that bike and left the 48cc on the other. Both bikes are getting rego at the same time.

are u sure 1 isnt his old stock he used to have 50cc ones wht colors did u get
