Compliance of motorcycles for registration has 3 main classifications, LA, this classification is for scooters and is restricted to 50cc maximum and a top speed of 50kph, LB is for any bike above 50cc with a sidecar, LC is any solo bike above 50cc.
LA class bikes may be ridden on a car licence in some states. LB and LC both require a bike licence, but may have upgraded motors above 50cc. The classification will be stamped on the compliance plate. I am not sure if z50's were stamped under these classifications when they were complianced.
I am posting this information as it came up in another thread but was deleted, I feel that it is relevant information for those wishing to have registered minis as some are LA class and some are LC.
