Compression Kick

Y does the bike kick back sometimes when you go start it, I went for a ride today and though i will start it in thongs. First kick it kicks back and knocks the sh*t out of my heal. I just wanted to know y this happens and how to avoid it one heel later

its from the compression and there really isn't a whole lot ya can do, i would try and wear shoes not thongs and kick it a bit harder, also this happens more if you stall the bike then start it rather than turn the on/off switch off.

Yea when you clutch start mine you have to get it TDC

I only get compression kick when I have the choke on for the first startup.
