rebuilding my lifan 125. Just wondering how well the valves are meant to hold compression. If i turn it over slowly it leaks, i can hear it. but when i turn it over some what faster i can feel the compression. ive tested it with fuel in the head, and it bubbles out a little bit. but just sitting with fuel in it doesn't leak. Not sure if the valves are bent, they seem to be straight. any advice would be much appreciated. These damn springs are killing me putting the valves in!

yeah, they arent affecting it. not sure, might not be seating properly or something.

its not bad if there is lower compression when pushing it slowly, realy havnt thort or asked why but i guess it would be as its letting the pressure out slowly, there isnt a huge amount of pressure so its easier to push down. compared to when you kick it there is alot more pressure making it harder to kick
