Hey guys. I just picked up a 2011 crf50 for the kids, engine and carby is stock except for a pod filter. The bike kicks over first go everytime and idles perfectly. However when I blip the throttle quickly it bogs/drops revs. If I turn up the throttle slowly it's smooth and revs fine. I've tried adjusting the needle clips in both directions and have found what I think is the sweet spot (and my understanding is that the needle mostly affects mid range anyway right?). So where do I start if I want to get that down low acceleration smoother?

Cheers! [emoji1365]

ive found in recent years due to the high amount of ethanol on the modern fuel
if bikes/carbys are left for a period the fuel will crystalise around the jets and even block them

you may find it will clear with a good ride but if it doesn't
you may need to remove the carby and cleanbowl and the jets out with carby cleaner

I would start with cleaning the jets first
