Im doing a chinese 50 build and I was wanting to convert my stock forks to Crf50 forks

I would be looking at raising them and getting a nice set of top clamps

To me they look weak, are they?

And if you dont think these forks are any good what would be good on it?

They last with me jumping on them. 80Kg and about 10ft gap. Stock legs and springs (for now) but they're holding up.

I posted some links in your build thread for forks.

been racing stock crf50 for a while and never seen a set brake. maybe a spring in em thats it.
The dont hav a real lot of travel in em but they work and they easy to work on fix yaself if any probs

Dont go with the Chinese ones that Bully posted in your thread. It states there 3" longer than std. If that is the case, you'll have some problems trying to level the bike.

Look around for some genuine ones and build them up from there.

Ill start to look around, If you dont mind me asking how much where your forks with top clamps?
Cheers
