hey mate where did u source the turbo from? and how much it cost ya?

the turbo cost me pretty much nothing, i swapped it with a mate for a sidedraght inlet manifold for an escort.
i think it cost him $50, he got it from a swap meet.

they're an import item, so they're pretty scarce, but i'm sure the charade brought out a petrol turbo aswell, and it was around 550cc or 660cc. i reackon they'd work just aswell as the one i'm using.

otherwise the 'smart car' turbo would be the next factory unit i'd be looking at, but they're a bit expensive, and more trouble to fit.

I hope this helps.

hard to say at this stage. i haven't been able to ride it properly. assuming the shop dyno's it properly, it should be make a bit more power. will see next time i goto the track with my mates, they'll either fly past me on the straights, or i'll fly past them. have to wait n see..

so wats happened with ya bike bro?? how did it go at the track was it a big success or wat???

it made 4psi on the track, but was on par with another stock bike. am looking into reasons as to why its not putting out more power, might not be enough air flow thru the carb, exhaust could be to big, static engine comp could be too high, hard to say.. i'm going to speak to a few people to find out where to spend time changing things. but it did keep makeing power upto 12,300rpm.
