hi new to the fourm, i was just wondering what model would be the go for the atomik range they have avenger, AX, and the motox.
which one is the best as they are very simliar but small differneces?
im about 80 kgs, how good would this go for somone that size?
Sorry if this topic is being covered before only found Orion Vs Atomik threads

Thanks
Awaiting replies.

i rekkon the AX model is the best It has a different style frame the the other Atomiks but im not sure if that makes it stronger or not?...and also its the the most expensive..lol. I have an Avenger and it goes good and has a normal frame (holds 113kg).
hope this helps!

AtomikAX is pretty good, i have one in blue except an orion not atomik. Atomik is an overpriced orion, i have seen people paying $200+ more for an atomik that is exactly the same as an orion.

A good seller is http://stores.ebay.com.au/APOLLO-AUSTRALIA this is who i bought my bike from and i had a dud carby and he sent me a new one no questions asked. Also i had an electrical problem and he just sent me all the electrical components to replace which would've cost me like $200.

If i was you i would be going for the new generation Orion

Thanks for the input much appreciated!!!

What about a person of 80kgs on these bikes??

i know it says the size on the site but would they need a trailer or can they be put into a car.like boot or fold down back setas etc any experiences???

unless you have a van or a ute you will need a trailer for transporting the bike as number one rule is; 4 strokes should not be layed down on there side for any period of time as the oil from the sump will travell to the cylinder. plus these bikes are heavy and not the mini bike size you think. i know this as my son has a simular size bike [ provert ] and i had to put the darn thing into my landcruiser one day, never again.

I stand my bike up in the back of my Rav 4 with the seats taken out, i can get it in and out by myself which requires pretty much lifting the bike, so if you can lift like 70kg+ then you should be right if you can stand it up in your car.

I am 82kg and the bike goes pretty well, quite close to my mates 1982 KX80 in takeoff but once he hits powerband he is gone.

I get about 80+km/h i would say in 4th gear.

the kx-80 has its powerband starting from first gear, my son had a kx 80 and the power is there i tell you.

hey mate have u changed ur sprockets or can u get bout 80km/h just standard gearing?

standard gearing, i am not 100% sure but i was riding next to a road where the speed limit was 70km/hr and i was going a little bit faster than the cars providing they were doing 70.

Yeh my mates kx80 only starts to pull away significantly once it hits powerband in 2nd gear
