gday all my problem this time is, i went riding yesterday after riding went to check oil level but had no dipstick rod joined to cap (was there previously) obviously its in motor some where what do i do??? motor is lifan 140.

you probably need to crack the cases and find it back then replace it with another one

Yeah you are gonna have to take off your clutch side engine cover. Make sure you drain the oil first.

Id try a torch and one of those metal coiled springs that have the fingers on the end that pick up bolts etc in hard to get spots if you have one (they only $3 from hardwares)

if not yep drain the oil, and unbolt the clutch side of the case, you could need a new case gasket though if it sticks and you break it!

thanks guys sounds simple enough but would it of done any damage as it was metal not plastic. when i pull the side case off should i expect anything to fly or fall out.
