I am about to buy a new set of forks does ofset matter I know it does on race bikes but how bout on pit bikes?

All i can think is on a 10 inch wheel you may want a bigger ofset but than again  no clue any help.... thanks

I didn't think offset applies to motorbike wheels... only cars??

All you should worry about is the width of your from rim.

Of course you wheels need to be in line (if thats what you are referring to)

It will wear down your tyres faster, bend your forks, snap your chain, chip sprockets etc

I believe what he meant by offset is the offset of the triple clamps, which is a common modification to full size dirtbikes. It affects wheelbase, steering, high speed stability, and most critically, the bike's handling.
It gets complicated from here. Can someone with better understanding of clamp offset explain?
