Just picked up a newish second-hand Ducar (spare the story on how shit they are :p Actually, some advice would be good. Some.)

And so no matter what I do to the mixture screw, it just won't run with the choke off. I churned it all the way to idling maybe at 3/4 the way to full revs, and it still just died with the choke off. It's a bit of a weird choke too. A lot different to the one on my Pitpro.

And I've been riding it a little bit with the carby filter off cos the dude who owned it before me took it off tinkering with the bike and now it's missing a bit to keep it on. I won't ride it anymore, but is it very damaging to have ridden it a little bit without? That's road riding btw, not dirt.

Thanks :)
