Well as most will know, i bought my bike a few weeks ago. I was wondering if a Loncin engine was any good. It has one of these engines and on the side it has made in Japan. I thought these Loncin engines where made in china and a copy of the honda type engines?

Whats your views on the Loncin engines?

they are made in china like everything else.
They are not the best motors and are mostly found in the 'cheaper' pitbikes.
to keep the life span going, change oil on a regular basis and look after the tranny, coz that will be the first thing to fail. have fun with it tho.

Mate has one of theses engines, no affence but they are properbly the worst mini bike engine.. 3rd and 4th lost all the teeth on the gears then the clutch decided to die.

they ok, wouldnt modyfy it not a very capable engine will cause problems
