after my first proper ride on my bike when i parked it in notice that the exhaust was a bluey purpley colours right next to the engine..is this just normal wear and tear use?? i cant get pics now bcoz the bike is at my mates house thanks 4 ya help anyone..

normall

thats normal buddy it goes that colour when it gets hot thats all, just keep an eye on it that its not glowing red when ya riding

im guessing if it goes red its bad lol what does it meean if this happends

means its running to lean, and you need to adjust your fuel mixture.... or your motors f%^&ed..

well good thing it dont go red when i ride then lol...but i will keep a eye on it...how do i kno if the mixture is lean or rich...sorry 4 all the questions

what the exhaust heat is doing is just tempering the metal, add heat to most metals and they will do this. it's completely normal.
Take your spark plug out, if the end is black and sooty, it's rich, if it's a whitish colour, it's lean.
It needs to be a nice brown colour with no build up on it...

adjust the fuel mixture screw, on my carbie it is like next to my idle screw
