its a bs-66ar-280l and see the piston isn't connected to the base

you'll find that the thread in the bottom eye is stripped out. Helicoil thread insert may fix it.

i've fixed it i had to remove the shock and take the pressure off the spring and all that was wrong was that a little grub screw wasn't tightened at the factory so i used some thread locker and tightened it all up again and it is fine now i can tear up our 35 acres once more!

yea i just got a bs33ar-280l seems much better then my old one! he has told me this is cromoly! not alloy (unlike my bike frame... learnt a fair bit from our chat!)
