first time dumping oil and i did the wrong sump plug? help please

hey guys just tried to dump oil and this fell out:

some oil
a washer
a spring
and a rod with holes in it....

just wondering what i do? do i need to replenish the oil that was in it?

donn't worry just put it back in, spring and rod at the same time then washer and nut, This is the cam chain tensioner so just make sure your cam chain is tight afterward, now just change your oil as usual

so do you insert rod then spring then washer or?? there is a plastic thing on top of the rod which way does it face up into the motor or down the bottom..
