whats the best gearing for an 88 limited? i cant remember what the go is with sprocket sizes. at the moment im running a 15t on the front and stock 37 on the rear. looking for a bit more bottom end
Little trick to think of is.
One tooth on front is worth three on rear. Bigger on front more top end. smaller makes it lower
On rear bigger rear is lower's gearing . smaller on rear for more top speed
So going of gearing you have now 15 /37
Tommys. 15t / 38t = one tooth lower then yours
mini mullisha. 15t / 39t =two tooth lower
Shearers. 14t / 37t =three tooth lower
Yeah the only time I use first is to start , other than that I never use first
Im old fat and slow so i need the lower gearing to help
Pull me out of the turns
