hey peeps, i just got an assignment for design and technology and they told me to make something with metal, i choose a go kart.
i rounded up a crf70 enging from myh mates house but now i dont no what i got my self into.

does any 1 no how i should go about doing this before i start?

just make a basic one dont worry about suspension just a frame with wheels,engine,seat,brakes,stearing

yea, do you no how to make the front axle steering thing work?

no not realy have a think and a sketch and look threw the net you should easily find what you are looking for

Maybe download some gocart designs from the web, then improvise ?

do use reckon a 70cc engine and dual chainsaw engines should be enough to power it?

i reckon the 70cc one would be enough, rig the chain etc up similar to a quad

ill buy the crf70 engine lol.. me and my mates tried to make a gokart a few months ago we gave up after welding the frame.. lol its to difficult unless you got a solid plan to follow and are willing to BUY the materials you need not try and improvise like we tried.
