golden star... well its red

how would i go about pulling this star off my bike, as it has now lost its colour red and i thaught i might atleast try make it look decent again

well.. on the opposite side of your head, u will see 3 bolts. 2 smaller out side bolts hold you head fins on,

and the bigger 1 in the middle goes all the way through ur cam and threads into the cam cover which the star is on.

The star cover will be loose wen u remove the middle bolt, try not 2 ruin the gaskets on either sides!

Has the heat affected it?

Just tape it up on the bike and spray with some heat resistant paint, yeh or remove the bolts etc.

nop degresser got to it, might just try tape it up...

and yeas heat resistant... might go with black, and do something about the colour of the zaust... donno why... just it dosent seem as dirty when plastics stick to it
