as said before first thing 2 do before you even ride the biike is loctite everythnig , check and adjust brakes & clutch .
after you have run it in change oil (go a good quality mineral oil not synthetic ) and spark plug and re tighten everything
a better chain and some high tensile bolts are definatley a must (as the chain could snap and do serious damage)

SO This is what i do:
loctite the bolts
change KMC chain
check and adjust brakes
buy me some high tensile bolts.

when i get my bike what do i do with the oil?

try find a used xr50 pick them up 4 800 2 a grand

get pro taper bars

don't get a kmc cain, they're good, but chinese, get an RK chain, jap chain, extremely good
