Do you think this would be a decent bike to start out on since im 16 and im 6'6 tall :)

My spending limit is pretty much 1500 anyway so yeah. all info would be of great help

I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT GET THAT MATE.

I'm off to dinner atm, but when I get back I will give you 10000 reasons not to and 10000 better alternatives for 10000 times a better cost.

Ok >.< im not buying anything in a hurry. lol just doing a bit of looking around for now cause im getting a bike for my birthday which is in august but its possible id get one sooner then that. but all im looking to do on the bike is just a bit of trail riding and nothing to insane since im only a beginner

check the buyers guide on here to see what brands are worth looking into. for that price theres much better ones u could get, especially for $1500. does it have to be a 250cc, as that bike is a bigger bike. at 6'6 i dont think a mini would be that good for u unless u got a bigfoot model. bigger wheels with a mid size frame. atomik, pit pro both make bigfoots. depending on ur weight u may want the biggest engine possible in a bigfoot which currently is a 160 and them motors have guts dont be afraid of a 160 over a 250

A well built 160 will have more power than a cheapo 250. My brotehrs hummer 250 was proof of that.

Look into an Atomik Bigfoot on eBay, they are a cheap and great way to make a start into the minibike scene.

Use the spare cash on upgrades, keep it handy for spares or save up for a better bike in the future.

ive been looking at the Atomik bikes but also ive seen decent reviews of Orion on this site. But the added bonus of that bike is its from a local retailer. also im mostly going to be using it for just trail riding with my mates and im only 80kg so i dont need a ****ton of power.

Or keep your eye open for a used Atomik Blitz 250 on eBay ;)

That one looks a little flogged, but if you get one in decent nick they can be a nice bike.

well being a good bike mechanic would be handy i spose..... ahhaa :) also i just saw a atomik blitz 250 on ebay but it was no where near me and was pick up only :(

So how much are you looking at paying for this bike mate, from the shop?

they sell for like 1500 on ebay for that exact bike but yeah id rather buy from a local store cause i hate my luck with shipping things -.-

Thanks for the reccomendations ill look into them. and ill keep you guys updated on what i find so you can give me more info :).

did u mean u saw good reviews of orions in THIS site, or just a site cos i can tell u now everyone on here has the same opinion of orions. ud better off making a fire out of ur money then pissing it out. pretty crude way of putting it but yes orions are not worth the scrap metal ull get off it
