Hi all new mini rider from townsville

Hi, ive been lurking around for a while now thought i should introduce myself.
my name is james, im an automotive spray painter by trade and you will usually spot me riding mt louisa or cungulla beach.

i have only been riding since jan but feeling confident... well enough to wheelie through 2 gears

my bikes are a 110cc thumpster 10/12

and a yx 150cc atomik 12/14

when i bought it new:

4 weeks later:
with a 30mm carby, 1/4 turn throttle, twin exhaust kit,pro taper grips, uni filter,kenda carlsbad rear knobbly upgraded brake pads, fuel lines plus in line filter, cnc gear lever, upgraded spark plug,upgraded oil cooler lines and several spare sets of graphics.

i am also about to collect my bigboysmotorcycles yx160cc 14/17 pit bike within 2 weeks

i have just realised thats 3 bikes in 3 months!!!, maybe i had better keep it at that for now

hey james, hows the rear brakes holding up on the 150 after steve sorted them?. After seeing the pics of the atomik 150 and then the 160 from work i know who you are now lol. You dont get hassled from the cops at Cungulla? And be careful at Mt Louisa now as development has started at the fire station side and i got warned out by the cops at Forestry road the other day that parks are hiring them to throw the book at us. Welcome james.

yeah rears are all good now , no trouble at the beach, the rangers at cungulla are happy with us as its marked as accessible for vehicles as there are camping grounds way up the other end.
and big enough not to annoy anyone.
perfect place to teach my mrs to ride, once i get the 160cc she will be on the 150 most the time.

yeah i went for a ride after work the other day, the whole right side is gone
not long before its all over i think.

Not wrong about Mt Louisa, there has been prohibited signs up for months now and noticed a couple of gates on the dalrymple rd side, can you ride quads and buggies at cungulla also james?

oh yes, last week there were buggies quads and even some aerolites " x2 single seater helicopters flying low on the beach"

Next time ya in james ill find out exactly where to go out there mate, Bring that celica in to so i can have a quick look at it eh, dont see bugger all of them these days.

sorry mate its joined the list of my old cars now, still got the TURBO 4 and ALF400 number plates though lol
the three cars i should never have sold:

well after swapping the engine for an st205 3sgte wrc homologation one , forging the engine ect and running 272 cams i got 220kw at all four on 27psi of boost

about 12.38@111mph because the awd bogs down

yeah there a great car a mate of mine had the carlos sainz gt4 for a few years

nice 5 kw more then my rex

but running 10 more pounds of boost i only run 17psi with a GT3076R

the rex runs 11.9 @ 117mph no bogging down for me with anti lag from the autronic ecu the dog box and button clutch helps with launching also

Damn i remember seeing the GT4 come past work and also down a suedes on ingham road, Sounds like your ready to have a family james:focus: haha. Getting rid of the expensive toys and getting a few less expensive ones.
