ive looked over the sprockets and neither have any markings on them to tell me what # they are.
is there a way to identify what they are as i want to get a bigger front sprocket.

cheers

Hi zumanity

Chains usually have 420 or 428 stamped on the side plates !

As for the sprocket widths here goes -

420 sprockets are 5.70mm Wide

428 sprockets are 7.14mm Wide

Hope this helps

Cheers Brian

thanks brian!

i have a lifan 125cc motor and am wondering about the spline size for the sprocket.
from what i understand there are two sizes.
which one fits the lifan 125?

17mm "Coarse splines" for the 125cc Chinga

Crf50 run "Fine splined" shafts,

so if the distance between the teeth on the sprocket is 10mm, what # chain do i run?
cheers
