I agree with you zwebx. I won't be doing it in a hurry, maybe when the original motor is long In the tooth.

Motor - Zongshen 175
KM's - unknown
Exhaust - I modified some stocko Yamaha 250 muffler to fit on my exhaust because the exhaust that was on there when I got it was too loud and my housemates/neighbours/local police hated me. So now it's very quiet.
KM's per full tank - ~70kms
Top speed - never tested it, but previous owner told me he had it over 100km/h with the higher gearing it has. It cruises at 70-80km/h though
Times been pulled over by cops - 1, no fines
Engine break downs - 0, but it's getting a bit tired
Bike break downs - 0
Faults - Regulator/rectifier failed. Headlight has always been ****. The swingarm has a fair bit of lateral deflection, probably just worn out bushes. It has some other faults but they are all caused by previous modifications.
Roughly doing around 10kms a day.

KM's - 38xxkms but i had the speedo disconnected for at least another 1500
Exhaust - Stock and falling apart
KM's per full tank - Around 94.5kms
Top speed - 100kmph+ but unsure exactly due to slightly larger wheels
Times been pulled over by cops - 3
Engine break downs - 1 - Blew a hole in the piston,
Bike break downs - 3 killswitch failed, spark plug lead melted and grounded to header, connector for spark plug fell apart
Faults - header bolts fell off, header fell out of sleeve, stock wheels spokes broke, bash plate snapped, cog on electric start shattered, rear brake light switch failed, lic plate light failed, rear indicator globes kept shattering from vibration, muffler vibrated apart, stand is ****... I think that is all.
cops situations
1. Blown indicator ($99 fine)
2. Lic check (out of state)
3. RBT... Watch vid here Never been bothered again.
