How to tell a v2 head from the outside

Can someone tell me how to tell if a z160ho has a v2 head on it? I know the cam cover is round on the ho but ive seen the triangle shaped cover on some.


Just curious how to tell

The tb heads have tb engraved on them (in the casting)

I thought sum off the early v2 heads had no tb stamped on them
But im not 100%

if so, remove the head and measure the valves

pull a cam cover off see if it has roller rocker arms or the non roller rockes like a stock head

yeah im just looking at pics and wondering how to tell, I seen a z160ho with original head off and a different head with the triangle shaped cam cover on it. thought it might be a v2

Did u find a new bike yet if I was buying second hand Id look at coolies cini its a good buy I think
Freight aint that bad I just sent a bike from wollongong to melb for $137 I just repacked in a frame like when u buy them.
