If it's off an a-frame swingarm it will just might raise or lower depending on length difference with stock

Think you'll find the 50's std shock is asomewhere round 250-260mm, also $200 bucks spent on that bike would be better spent pissing it up the wall... Just my thoughts.

that shock is prob too fat to fit between the rails of the frame, the spring will be the wrong weight for an a arm and its way too long to fit.
