Irk Cdi Swap

I've got an IRK set up with the standard IRK CDI. I was wondering is it possible to swap that CDI for a race CDI. The race one is 6 wire 2 plug style, i have no problems splicing wires and altering my wirring harness. My only question is would it work or not work? Mess the bike up? Or work and have no real benifit?

If any hardcore tech experts out there can help me out with this , it would be greatly appreciated.

mate it wont work firstly

and secondly the cdi that comes with the irk has no rev limit and is set up perfectly for the irk

yer it wouldnt work dont bother , the ones that come with it are good enough

they've got a little harness that swaps between the single plug and the double plug cdi's
