irk installation

i put an irk on my motor a while ack
and have now just decided ill put my bike back together
i noticed that my old magneto had like a million wires and my irk only has 2
how do i wire my bike up
i will get photos if need be

I think you got ripped off or somebodies cut your other wirers off? I know you need Green (Earth), Black/White (Kill switch) and I think a yellow for spark. I think a pic would help.

i was putting a lifan 125 in my bike and pulled irk off old engine placed it on lifan and theres no spark iv wired it all up the same any help?? in the end i put the irk back on the old engine and have no spark on that now ahhhh its starting to piss me off lol

more than likely you have no spark, because the gap is set too far out... the stator pick up on the IRK's needs a pretty small gap... bout the thickness of a sheet of a4 paper for it to generate a spark... i did do a thread somewhere about setting the timing on an IRK... i'll see if i can find it...
