IRK on a 2002 KLX110

Ok, so i modified a stock 2003-2007 Kitaco IRK to fit my 2002 crank,
and now I have great sparks, but the bike will absolutely not fire up no matter if i advance or retard the spark over the full +/- 15 degree range. Is the crank timing (key way position) different on the 2002 engine?
Its also running a 124 high compression set up with a kamikaze big valve head and standard cam.
