let me be your school teacher for today atomic boy and you can spread the good word.
the yellow box i imagine would be a lap timing transponder.
a race shift is where you click down to go up a gear and click up to go down a gear. this is because with road riding when you are lent over in the middle of a corner and want to change up a gear, you dont have to put your foot under the shifter (which is hard to locate and do mid corner) but just tap it up a gear by tapping the shifter
