What is going on there with the forks, the legs are all the way up thru the clamps?

hi mate, welcome to the forum...

Im sure you will have hours of fun on it! first thing you should do is use the forum search function and find the "bike setup" thread..this will help you set it up correctly.

i would have a look at your forks as they seem like they are up through the triples too far...

enjoy, and have fun.

The 'VIN' isn't really a VIN number. Thats more of a part number too ;). Also what is the ENGINE number? It is located under the front sproket.

Read through these:

First thing you do to the engine is drop the shipping oil and put in some new stuff:
- Shell Advance 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-40, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto
- Castrol Activ 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-50, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto

Then check your valves... VERY IMPORTANT!!:

That looks not bad for a first bike, It will be good to get some general knowledge of the mechanics of the bike and how the bike feels to ride.

When you get your skills up you might consider of getting a more heavy duty bike, As the more skill and confidence you build the harder you generally will be on the bike. But this depend on the individual.

Nice first bike. :)

yeah man.. Pull the forks down so the suspension will work and it will sit better
