I have a Keihin PE28 Carby that I'm trying to retune for a yx140. The Keihin website says that the float height should be 14mm. When set to 14mm, the floats hit the roof just as its cutting off the fuel which seems totally wrong. It also causes fuel to leak from the overflow from any bumps and makes the jetting rich.
When I purchased the carby it was set around 17mm. I can't believe that the Keihin website states 14mm, it seems so far wrong. Anyone had experience tuning a PE28 roundslide? I think I'm going to ignore the recommended settings and just set it to whatever I want. lol.
