Kickstart

Hey all, I’m new to pit bikes so I bought a used one that wasn’t running. I have no idea of the brand it only reads DB-21B in the handle bars. Today I got it running and rode just fine. I shut it off and when I tried to start it the kickstart was hard to do and the bike lunged forwards and would not start. The bike will roll backwards but not forwards. Any help would be appreciated, please remember that sometimes I have no idea what I’m doing.

sounds like it was in gear when you tried to start it?
google DB-21, I think it might be an apollo, im sure it is apollo that make the DB model pitbikes
