Well first of all i thought i'd post this since my klx110 build is on hold until this is finished.

I've always wanted to own a 2 stroke again (first year of racing was on a cr125 when i was lapped by everyone each race hahah), and now that i ride Kawi's i wanted a KX, also i wanted to buy my own practice bike. I decided to save up for one (only have a part time job right now) but the week after i decided to save up for one, a KX popped up locally here in Geraldton, being that its hard enough to even find one in WA i had to have it. So I got a loan from my parents (50/50 haha). I had a pretty beat, but well running 2004 KX125.

Now that there is some background info haha the day after i bought it, it was taking to my dads work where we took it completely apart (before even riding it, no throttle cable haha) The plan was to clean everything up, make sure everything engine wise checked out and replaced what ever need replacing and put it back together. But soon after pulling it apart that whole idea has been thrown out the window, with the help of my dad secretly wanting a 2 dinger aswell hahah :)

So far I have:
- Acid scrubbed all the aluminium parts
- Buffed and polished all metals and engine
- Replaced piston rings
- Powder coated frame black
- Radiators black

Parts I have ordered:
- Swingarm, linkage and steering stem bearings
- Pro Circuit style plastics (green front fender and number plate, the rest black)
- Black on blue rims
- Handle bars, levers, grips...
- Blue radiator hoses
- Pro Circuit R304 silencer and Platinum Exhaust

Thats about it until i put it back together and ride it for the first time :D

Now for some Pics!! Crappy phone ones for now

Night we got it

Ok bearings have finally arrived so I've started to putting my bike together! So far swing arm and linkage bearings are done and the engine is now polished up.

Steering stem bearings still need to be done, piston ring replaced and waiting on some new Bridgestones to put on the rims, once they have been done its just the job of bolting parts on haha :)

Couple of pics!!

Polishing the Engine, it was so stained and took quite a bit of polishing to get it the way it is now :)
