Lachy's crf50 build-up.

So it's been a while since I was last on here. So I have started a new thread on my new build. The old project got sold. So I went out and bought a crf50 and another thumpstar frame and have been building it up to where it is now.

Parts consist of:
Takegawa 88cc bore kit.
Bills exhaust pipe.
Fast 50s swingarm, seat, throttle & foot pegs.
Genuine thumpstar frame.
I-shock.
Extended fork legs and protaper bar kit.

More parts to come and will update when I get them.

So came home to some new parts for my 50.
New wheels and tyres.
Rear sprocket.
Grips



Just need to sort out the spacers in the front end to fit the forks properly.

So I'm nearly finished with the build. I still want to do a few little things to like find a new crf50 style plate. There pretty hard to find. So here are some pics of how it stands now. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Have you priced one from Honda ?
You can get the Polisport CRF50 plates (exact replica) for $45 inc delivery

I was thinking of going to the dealer as my second option. Probably be pricey tho. So that polisport one in the link is the crf50 new plate design?

Head into your local honda dealer mate, both the newer plates I've gotten have been from my local shop, they've just unscrewed the plates from floor stock and I paid from memory $40, you might get lucky but the guys at my local shop are absolute champs so good luck, but yeah I'd try that first.
