Lifan 125 wiring

hey,

just bought a new lifan 125cc and have hooked everything up but have a green,red wire left over and im not sure where it goes, thought it might have been an earth but it has a plug on the end of it, can anyone tell me what it is?

I think it could be the kill switch mate or even the one that comes from the stator and then plugs into the harness and also could be the cdi but i need pictures or maybe someone that knows alot more about the lifan 125 can help you out

Dhz website has a wiring diagram you can download for the lifan 125

thanks for that got the wiring digram off dhz and it says the beside the wire that it is idle, might be a stupid question but does that mean it isnt used?

if it is the wire i am thinking of, but you havent said where it is coming from etc. It gets completely removed because you dont need it

ah rite its coming strait from the engine

its the nuetral indicator wire only gets used if you want a light to come on when in neutral
the wire can be removed but keep the cap in place
