Lightning Flywheel

Hey Guys, has anyone tried machining some meat of the flywheel as opposed to an IRC kit?

i dunno if it would work your timing would bre out unless you modded the pickup to suit
besides theres would be a issue i think with it exploding under high rpm if you took out to much meat

im no expert but i wouldnt try it

Me and Durant have talked about it but I'm trying the outer rotorkitted 150 at the moment ... maybe cactus has done it .... but it would go well with a cam and a good cdi I reckon .... reliable once you got it set up right.

i want the flywheel as heavy as possible so it holds its revs...

youd be taking a fair amount of a normal flywheel to make any difference
