Matching up side covers

Ok guys how about the next problem i have come accross...... i have unbolted the side of the moto where the kick start is it just see if somthings goin on in there but since i have undone that and move it out wards now the kick started wont budge is there any special things to need to do to get it ot match back up so i at least be able to kick it over

Could be several reasons. Bit hard to just guess.

Post some pics up so we can take a look.
