Mikuni Pz26 settings on Lifan 125cc

Spent the last 2 days trying to get it right
i can get 1/4 to full throttle spot on but it bogs from idle to 1/4 when i twist it quickly but is fine if i wind it on slow.
ive tried 15 & 20 pilot
95 main
and every needle and mixture screw setting in between
valve clearance and air leaks have been tripple checked
what jet size are other guys using in there lifan 125cc big valve motors

I have used a 17.5 pilot on this sort of carby in the past and turned the mixture screw out about 1 turn. I also had a 95 main jet with the needle clip on 2nd from the bottom. Is your air filter clean i had a uni-filter on this carby also. I hope this helps you 444 and welcome to miniriders mate.

all good now, i was mistaking the low end bog as running rich but ended up being to lean and trying to tune it without a air filter which wasnt helping.

Time to ride, glad you got it sorted mate, dont make your idle to low either that can cause a flatspot or deadspot going to WOT from idle.
